Caroline Rainsford
Director of Science at CTPACaroline holds a Masters degree in Chemistry from the University of Oxford. As Director of Science at CTPA, the UK trade association for cosmetic and personal care products, Caroline leads CTPA’s scientific strategy and is actively involved in advocacy with the UK Government on issues concerning cosmetic ingredients and its wider chemicals strategy. Caroline represents CTPA on several committees at Cosmetics Europe and is the chair of the Expert Team Ingredient Monitoring and Assessment, which manages cosmetic ingredient issues at a European level. She also chairs the UK national committee for cosmetics at the British Standards Institution (BSI), which is responsible for UK input into global Standards development.
Sophia Feng
Senior Regulatory Affairs Manager at Mk CosmeticsSophia holds a masters degree in Hebei Normal University in China. She has extensive experience in Chinese cosmetic regulatory consulting, product registration and in market compliance. She has pushed for registration of cosmetic products by hundreds of international brands, including big brands and SMEs. She works with official beauty departments and international beauty associations for regulatory exchange as well.
